Spring trench cushion with adjustable hardness Area of production
The present invention relates to an inflatable foam cushion with adjustable hardness, for use in gymnastics and, in particular, gymnastics, the pad comprising a first foam pad portion.
The production also relates to the use of a trench foam cushion, for gymnastics and especially gymnastics.
The background of the creation
In the field of gymnastics and especially gymnastics, it is known to use spring trenches in which there is a soft foam cushion. Spring digs are not least used in connection with gymnasts learning new jumps, where there are many repetitions and where soft landings are extremely important and necessary to avoid the gymnast's injury. The jumps can, for example, be exercised from the floor, the runway or from the mini trampoline and terminated in the jumping pit.
It is known that foam pads for trenches are made in several layers of foam which can be solid or where there may be channels or other measures in one or more layers of foam. The foam pad typically has a cover where there may also be stretch fabric on the top of the foam pad and the foam pad may for example be made of 7 layers and amount to a height of 950 mm.
In gymnastics and especially gymnastics, it is also known to use landing mats in the form of jumping mats in connection with, for example, floor exercises and landings from, among other things, mini-trampolines, since jumping mats also protect the gymnast in the landing. In contrast to the trenches, the mats are removable and thus they can be towed, dragged or driven around as desired and needed, however, the landings are considerably harder than in the trenches.
Slip mats are known in thicknesses of, for example, 300 mm, which can be solid foam or several layers of foam, and where there is also typically a cover, as well as often handles to facilitate handling.
For example, for team gymnasts or jump-rhythm gymnasts who practice gymnastics at a competitive level for teams by, among other things, performing mat jumps and trampoline jumps, there is a strong focus on the landing area, as many injuries occur precisely as a result of incorrect landing. At the same time, there is a very big difference between going from the soft trench training to the significantly tougher downhill training.
From US 2013/086744 Al is known a fall mat / gymnastic center which includes a first foam part as well as a second foam part between which there is an inflatable part, but this part does not create a foam pad with adjustable hardness for use neither for trenches or as transition solutions in conjunction with recess mat training.
Purpose of creation
Thus, it is an object of the invention to create a hardness-adjustable transition solution from the soft trench training to the more rigid trench mat training.
It is also an object of the invention that the transition solution must be able to be established quickly, easily and without many and heavy lifting.
Description of the production
According to a first aspect of the invention, the above stated object is achieved with an adjustable hardness bouncing foam pad, for use in gymnastics and especially bouncy gymnastics, wherein the pad comprises a first foam pad portion as initially described and as described in the preamble of claim 1, wherein the pad of at least further comprising a second foam pad as well as an inflatable pad.
This makes it possible to adjust the hardness of the trench cushion pad by adjusting the pressure in the inflatable cushion section, whereby a transition solution from the soft trench training to the more rigid trench mat training is a reality. In a preferred embodiment, the sides of the first foam pad portion, the second foam pad portion, and the inflatable pad portion are substantially equal in size, shape, and area. This means that the cushion parts can be laid on top of each other and still retain the same area. In contrast, the heights of the first foam pad portion, the second foam pad portion, and the inflatable pad portion in a preferred embodiment are different. In an alternative embodiment, for example, the inflatable pad portion may be half the size of the first and second foam pad portions, and so that there may be two inflatable pad portions side by side. This allows one inflatable pad to be inflated to a different pressure and thus hardness than the other inflatable pad portion. In a further alternative embodiment, for example, both the inflatable pad portion and the second foam pad portion may be half the size of the first foam pad portion and so that there may be two inflatable pad portions side by side. This also allows one inflatable pad to be inflated to a different pressure and thus hardness than the other inflatable pad portion, as well as allow each of the other two foam pad portions to be of different hardness or other construction. Thus, in the case of very long trenches, these alternative embodiments could be landed on substrates with two different hardnesses.
Further alternatives where the inflatable pad portion as well as the second foam pad portion are, for example, of a different size and thus do not cover the entire first side of the first foam pad portion or where the inflatable pad portion has different dimensions and shapes than the first and second foam pad portions are also possible.
By an inflatable pad portion is meant that the pad portion can either be inflated with a gas or a gas mixture, e.g., air, or the pad portion may be inflated with a liquid or a liquid mixture, for example, water. The more pumped into the cushion part the more it becomes filled and the harder it becomes. That is, the filling and inflating of the cushion part can be adjusted according to, for example, the weight of the gymnasts, the height from which they land and the severity of the exercises.
The first foam pad portion is in a preferred embodiment made of 7 layers of solid foam, with a total height of 950 mm. Alternatively, there may be more or less layers of foam depending on the thickness of the individual layers, or alternatively there may be one or more layers having channels, tray sides or other devices and alternatively there may also be a total height which is greater or greater. less than 950 mm, depending on the design of the trench. In addition, the individual foam layers can be of different thickness and hardness, and so that the foam pad can combine different layers for a particularly desirable hardness, stability or shock absorbing effect. The first foam pad portion is, in a preferred embodiment, the permanent trench foam pad, whereas the second foam pad portion and the inflatable pad portion are parts that can be mounted and dismounted according to the needs and requirements of the gymnasts.
In another aspect, the present invention also relates to a burial trench foam pad where the inflatable pad portion is located between the first foam pad portion and the second foam pad portion.
This makes it possible to adjust the hardness of the trench foam pad on top of the original trench foam pad, herein referred to as the first foam pad portion, to place the inflatable pad portion and finally the second foam pad portion on top of the inflatable pad portion.
The gymnasts will thus find that they land on a foam pad, which they also do, but they will land on a thinner foam pad that has a backing in the form of the inflatable pad and the first foam pad. If the inflatable pad part is fully or partially inflated, the gymnasts will experience and feel that the landing is thus harder in comparison to if they landed on a foam pad whose base was only the first foam pad.
The present invention also relates, in a third aspect, to a burial trench foam pad, wherein the second foam pad portion comprises at least one layer of foam, corresponding to the upper layer of foam on the first foam pad portion.
This makes it possible to land soft initially on a surface similar to the first pad portion, in which the second foam pad portion is, in a preferred embodiment, made of 2 layers of solid foam, with specifications corresponding to the top two layers of foam on the first foam pad portion, i.e. the two layers of foam are closest to the first side of the first foam pad, the second foam pad having a total height of, for example, 250 mm.
Alternatively, there may be more or fewer layers of foam depending on the thickness of the individual layers, alternatively there may be one or more layers having channels, egg tray sides or other devices and alternatively there may also be an overall height which is greater or greater. less than 250 mm, depending on the design of the trench cushion. Finally, in the case of multiple layers of foam, they may be foam layers of different hardness.
The present invention also relates, in a fourth aspect, to a burial trench cushion, wherein the inflatable cushion portion comprises at least a flexible pouch with at least one device for access and exit of a medium, such as gas or liquid.
This makes it possible to adjust the hardness on the ground that the gymnasts land on, from an empty inflatable pad part where the landing will feel very soft compared to a fully inflatable pad part where the landing will feel substantially harder.
The inflatable cushion portion is in a preferred embodiment made of a rubber or plastic material having flexible properties, the cushion being basically a pouch, however there may be multiple compartments or other structures of the cushion cavity to stabilize the cushion or to break wave formation where used liquids. The inflatable cushion portion preferably has a total height of 100 mm, but alternatively there may also be a total height greater or less than 100 mm, inter alia depending on the design of the trench.
The arrangement of the inflatable cushion part also makes it possible to supply or discharge a medium, gas or liquid to the cushion part.
The present invention also relates in a fifth aspect to a burial trench cushion, the device of the inflatable cushion part at least comprising a valve for connection to a pump unit directly or via a hose connection.
This allows, in a preferred embodiment, to supply or discharge a medium to the pad portion, with the pad portion at least one valve for connecting a pump unit directly or via a hose connection. An alternative solution is an opening in the cushion part which is permanently coupled to a pump by means of a hose, whereby the pump can maintain or change the pressure in the cushion dynamically as desired and needed. In cases where gases are used, it should be understood that a pump may alternatively be a blower and in cases where liquids are used it should be understood that an additional hose guide from the pump to, for example, a tank will be necessary.
The present invention also relates in a sixth aspect to a burial trench cushion where the device of the inflatable pad portion is located on the other side of the inflatable pad portion.
This makes it possible to extend a hose connection either to one of the edges of the cushion part and to a pump or fan, which is optionally transported to the site as a mobile unit and thus stands near the burial pit. Alternatively, for prolonged and sustained use of this arrangement, a permanent hose guide can be made down one edge of the first foam pad or into a corner between the edges, where the hose guide is thus not visible over the floor, but where the hose is channeled to a pump. located permanently somewhere outside the gymnasium, where the pump also did not see the noise and disturb the gymnasts. Further, in an alternative solution, there may be a hose guide down through the first foam pad portion and so that the hose guide will not be accessible or visible from the outside.
The present invention, in a seventh aspect, also relates to a burial trench cushion, the first foam cushion portion and the second foam cushion portion as well as the inflatable cushion portion each having its own cover.
This allows each pad part to be protected separately so that they are not exposed to the surrounding dust, dirt and direct wear during use. In addition, the layer pads of the foam pads are also prevented from breaking and extend the life of the foam pads in general.
In addition, for the first foam pad portion, which as mentioned, constitutes the original trench foam pad, there is stretch fabric on the top, that is, on the first side of the foam pad portion.
The present invention also relates in an eighth aspect to a burial trench cushion, the second foam cushion portion and the inflatable cushion portion further comprising a common cover.
This allows the second foam pad and the inflatable pad part to be moved and mounted as a single unit, which is faster and easier. Since the two cushion parts are usually relatively thin, the common cover also helps to hold the parts together and so that the position of the cushion parts does not have to be constantly adjusted.
The present invention also relates, in a ninth aspect, to a trench cushion pad, wherein the second foam padding and the inflatable cushion cover further comprise at least one burst band area on the outside of the cover facing away from the other puff pad and the first foam padding further comprising at least one burst band area on the outer side of the cover facing away from the first side of the first foam pad.
This makes it possible to staple and hold both the second foam pad and the inflatable pad portion by means of the common cover of the first foam pad portion.
By stretcher band area is meant an area extending - substantially - throughout the width and / or longitudinal direction of the pad parts, where the stretcher area may be, for example, a 5 cm wide track of stretcher. Alternatively, a stretcher band area may be a number of shorter stretcher segments where the segments may be rectangular, square, oval, round, or any other desired shape. Thus, by multiple burst band areas is meant not only multiple burst band segments located side by side in the same area, but multiple areas of paths or segments, where each burst band area is intended for a separate function.
Tie straps can be with either hooks or loops, or straps can be with a combination of hooks and loops. The combination of hooks and loops means that all areas with straps can be interconnected irrespective of whether it is an area with hooks or with loops. A strap band with a combination of hooks and loops can be paired with a corresponding strap band with a combination of hooks and loops, but also with a strap band with either hooks or loops.
Obviously, if a burst band area on the second foam padding and the inflatable cushion portion is covered with hooks, then a corresponding burst band area on the first foam padding must have loops or vice versa. In a preferred embodiment, all carrier band areas are a combination of hooks and loops, which facilitates interconnection, even in cases where other elements may be desired to be attached to the covers.
The present invention, in a tenth aspect, also relates to the use of a trench foam cushion, for gymnastics and especially gymnastics. Character description
